Bill Israelson from Vintage GC shot a two round total of 4-under par 140 to win the 2011 Minnesota Senior PGA Championship at Midland Hills CC. One stroke back at 3-under par 141 was Ty Armstrong from Glen Lake GC. Along with Israelson and Armstrong, Mike Barge from Hazeltine National (142), Mike Zinni from Mankato GC (144) and Brad Schmierer from Hastings CC (144) will advance to the 23rd Southworth Senior PGA Professional Championship, October 6-9, 2011 in Leesburg, Virginia. The Championship is supported by Southworth Development and Mercedes Benz.
