Eden Prairie, MN – Vikings QB Brett Favre has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Month after leading the team to a 4-0 mark in November games. Favre was 91-of-130 for 1,193 yards with 12 TDs and 0 INTs while being sacked only 4 times.  Favre has helped the Vikings to a 10-1 start to the 2009 season, marking the 10^th time in the past 15 seasons he has led a team to a 10-win campaign. 

The honor marks the 6^th time in Favre’s career he has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Month and the 1^st time since November 2004 he has earned the award. Favre is the 1^st Viking to receive the recognition since Daunte Culpepper in October 2004. Favre is only the 4^th Vikings QB to be named NFC Offensive Player of the Month, joining Warren Moon in November 1995, Randall Cunningham in October 1998 and Culpepper in September 2003 and October 2004.
